Terms of Service

Last updated: August 3, 2026

These terms govern your use of Rocket Anatomy (rocketanatomy.com). By using the site, you agree to them. Please read them — the important parts are written in plain language on purpose.

What Rocket Anatomy is

Rocket Anatomy is an independent educational platform for exploring rocket engineering through interactive 3D models, a design studio, community discussion, guided lessons, and space news. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, approved by, or endorsed by any launch provider, aerospace company, or government agency. Vehicle and manufacturer names are used only for factual, educational identification.

Accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission.
  • You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information (like a real, working email address) when creating an account.

Acceptable use

When using the community chat, Design Studio, or any other part of the site, you agree not to:

  • Post harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content, or anything illegal
  • Post links, images, or attempt to disguise a link as plain text
  • Impersonate another person or organization
  • Attempt to abuse, spam, or overload the site, its AI features, or its community systems
  • Attempt to bypass the demo timer, account limits, or moderation systems

Community messages are automatically screened before publishing (link/profanity filtering plus an AI safety check). We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion.

Your content

You retain ownership of anything you post (community messages, saved designs, profile content). By posting in the public community, you grant us the right to display it on the site as part of the public conversation. You can delete your own messages and designs at any time.

3D models and educational content

Rocket 3D models featured on the site are used under their original creators' licenses (including CC BY 4.0), with attribution provided where the model is shown. Internal layouts and educational descriptions may include reasonable approximations based on publicly available information and are provided for educational purposes, not as engineering-accurate specifications.

The AI features

Super Rocket Buddy (our AI tutor) and our content moderation system use third-party AI models. Responses are generated automatically and, like any AI system, can occasionally be incomplete or incorrect — treat them as a learning aid, not an authoritative technical or safety reference.

Memberships and payment

Some features may require a paid membership. If you subscribe to a paid plan, you agree to pay the listed price for the plan you select; pricing and included features are described on the Membership page and may change with notice. You can cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation stops future billing but doesn't refund the current billing period unless required by law.

Termination

You can stop using the site and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abuse, or pose a risk to the site or other users.

Disclaimer

Rocket Anatomy is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its educational content is complete or fully accurate. This is an independent educational tool, not professional aerospace-engineering software, and must not be used for real vehicle design, manufacturing, safety decisions, or launch operations.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rocket Anatomy and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
